Semiotics can be described as the investigation of signs in its simplest form. Not signs that we normally think of, but signs that include anything that can stand for or represent a particular meaning in a far broader context. The signifier and signified are both psychological and are united in the mind. Further, by Saussure’s Dyadic model of the sign we get to know about the relation of sign with subject. He stated that a medium, pattern, acoustic image etc. has nothing to do with the actual object. Even the image related to the sign is born into a subject which us. Thus, it tells us that our work is not only subjected to our interpretations but also, to the interpretations of the ones using/ seeing our work. Articulation of systems of which we are not aware is one of the main reasons for its creation.
